Stuttgart/Las Vegas. With over 14 million units delivered since 1946, the E-Class is the bestselling model series in the history of Mercedes-Benz. Many regard it as the “heart of the brand”.
In 2016 the E-Class took a major step into the future: The tenth generation set styling highlights with its pure yet emotive design and exclusive, high-quality interior. It also impressed with its wealth of innovations, for example the driving assistance systems.
Update for the performance luxury saloon
Affalterbach. New engine, new transmission, new all-wheel drive, new exterior and interior design: On the S 63 4MATIC+ (fuel consumption combined: 8.9 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 203 g/km), Mercedes-AMG has dramatically honed the driving dynamics and looks further.
The new S-Class Saloon family is growing
Stuttgart/Affalterbach. With the first of the new SClass vehicles (available to order since May) already on their way to European dealerships, sales of further models are now beginning.
The world in three words
Stuttgart/Frankfurt. A new coordinate system organises the world: founded in 2013, what3words assigns three words to every point on Earth, making locations easily and unambiguously identifiable – even where there are no addresses. Mercedes-Benz will be the first automotive manufacturer to use the new address system.
Intuitive understanding: taking voice control to a new level
Stuttgart. Mercedes-Benz is further enhancing the performance of the LINGUATRONIC voice control system. Infotainment, navigation and – for the first time – vehicle functions can now be operated conveniently courtesy of a host of new, intuitive voice commands.
The automotive benchmark in efficiency and comfort
Stuttgart/Shanghai. The new S-Class celebrates its world première with extensive innovations at the Auto Shanghai. Among the highlights is an all-new and highly efficient engine range with a series of new technologies for electrification of the powertrain.
